Grant Apply Space Template Permission to Non-Admins

Managing permissions in Space Templates ensures the right balance between flexibility and control. While Jira admins have full access to create and manage space templates, applying these templates can be extended to non-admin users, empowering teams to spin up new projects without IT bottlenecks.

By default, only admins can apply space templates, but you can easily customize this in Templating.app. Assign permissions to specific users or groups, giving them the ability to create projects based on predefined templates. It’s important to note that permissions for applying space templates apply globally across all templates, not individually. This approach keeps things simple while still allowing for tailored access control.
