Edit Checklist Template

Editing a checklist template allows you to update its content, conditions, or settings to better fit your project needs.

Follow these steps to make changes to an existing checklist template:

  1. Open Templating.app Settings
    • As a project admin, navigate to your Project Settings.
    • Select Apps β†’ Templating.app from the menu.
    • Or open the Checklist Configuration via the button at the Templating.app Overview.
  2. Access Existing Templates
    • Locate the checklist template you want to edit from the list of available templates.
    • Click on the Template name.
  3. Update Template Name
    • Modify the template’s name if necessary to reflect its purpose more accurately.
  4. Edit Action Items
    • Update the checklist items in the text editor field.
    • You can:
      • Add new items.
      • Remove outdated items.
      • Format text, add mentions, or include additional notes.
  5. Adjust Conditions
    • Issue Types: Update the issue types associated with the template.
      • You can add or remove issue types as needed.
    • Labels: Modify the labels used as conditions.
      • Add, remove, or adjust the labels for better precision.
  6. Save Changes
    • Click Update template to apply your updates.
