Supported Fields & Custom Fields

Here’s an overview of the fields and custom fields that you can use within Subtask Templates in Templating.app:

Standard Issue Fields

  • Description
  • Assignee
    • Don’t use specific assignee. Might fall back to project settings.
    • Inherit assignee from parent issue
    • Set reporter as assignee
    • Choose user
  • Labels
    • Don’t use specific labels. Might fall back to project settings.
    • Inherit labels from parent issue
    • Select labels
  • Components
    • Don’t use specific components. Might fall back to project settings.
    • Inherit components from parent issue
    • Select components
  • Priority
    • Don’t use specific priority. Might fall back to project settings.
    • Inherit priority from parent issue

  • Fix Version
    • Don’t use specific fix versions. Might fall back to project settings.
    • Inherit fix versions from parent issue
    • Select fix versions
  • Affected Version
    • Don’t use specific affected versions. Might fall back to project settings.
