Hide Subtask Template for Specific Groups

Sometimes, multiple teams collaborate within a single Jira project, leading to a long list of subtask templates that might not be relevant to everyone. To keep things organized and clear, you can hide specific templates from certain user groups.

  1. Open the Subtask Template: Navigate to the Subtask Template you want to restrict visibility for.
  2. Select Group Restrictions: In the template settings, choose the Group Visibility option.
  3. Choose the Group: Select the Jira group from the dropdown menu to hide the template from its members.
  4. Apply Changes: Users from the selected group will no longer see the template in the dropdown when applying templates.
